Unsurprisingly the stock markets and currency markets have been volatile in the two weeks since the Brexit vote. Domestic politics has been equally volatile too.

The Conservatives won, but also lost. Labour lost, but also won. The SNP likewise lost, but also won. The Conservatives in Scotland won, but also lost. UKIP lost, but due to Brexit are still claiming they won. And Theresa May is under pressure to resign because she lost, but won’t because she won.

Warren Buffett is widely admired as one of the wisest investors in the world. He also speaks a lot of common sense, which is surprisingly rarely put into practice when it comes to investing. We like to think he would have a lot of positive comments about our investment philosophy.

I am a big fan of Blackadder and Lord Flashheart, played by Rik Mayall, is probably one of the best characters in the whole series.
